Service and accounts
ScholarEngine helps find scholarships, explain requirements, prepare drafts and fill supported original forms. It does not apply for you. Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and use only material you own or are authorized to provide. Do not impersonate others, upload malware or bypass security, limits or provider restrictions. Family accounts act only within their authorized relationship and permissions; an account declaration is not independent verification of legal authority.
Real-student AI and under-13 use are not enabled merely by accepting these terms. They remain subject to the applicable provider, age and consent safeguards. Free Gemini is currently for isolated fictional testing only.
Your material and drafts
You retain ownership of your documents and answers and permit processing needed for the requested service, as explained in the privacy notice. Review extracted information and generated text; do not submit unsupported claims. Follow each provider's AI policy, and confirm deadlines, eligibility, question limits and required evidence from its official source. No scholarship, award, eligibility or complete application is guaranteed. Providers decide outcomes.
Approval and original forms
Review and approve exact answers before supported transfer, and approve each file for its identified destination. Changes may require new approval. A provider may autosave answers or upload files immediately, before submission. Withdrawal prevents future ScholarEngine transfers but cannot recall the provider's copy.
You review the original application and submit yourself. ScholarEngine never submits, signs declarations, accepts provider terms, pays fees or impersonates a recommender. Recommendation letters must come from an authorized recommender. Unsupported or changed forms may require manual completion. Logins, CAPTCHAs and access restrictions must not be bypassed.
Availability and closure
Features depend on configuration, provider availability and supported forms. Errors, quotas, maintenance and form changes can interrupt preparation; check outstanding requirements. Misuse or compromised accounts may be restricted, with an explanation where appropriate and safe. Use account-export/deletion controls or contact us. Actual retention practices apply; ScholarEngine deletion does not erase provider copies.
Changes and rights
Published terms will show a version and effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the service or appropriate account communication. Charges require a separate clear offer and acceptance; these terms authorize no fees. Applicable legal rights are not removed. No arbitration clause, special liability cap or exclusive court jurisdiction is added by this draft.
